one year back i bought a car for going to the office. one day my friend called me from the bar. on that day his girl friend proposed love. we both drank well and started to go home. unfortunately he hit the car on to the tamarind tree. he fall down from the car. i was unconsious. he rang up and asked his friend for the help. he came to the spot and rescued us. the very next day his girl friend shocked. she told me that i will bear all the repair expenses. i laughed and said what a surprising gift to you just the day before she proposed her love.
2001 Cavalier Review
This is the first car i have ever owned. Since day one i have never had a problem with it. IT runs like a baby, shifts very smoothly and is overall an amazing car. It is a great bang for the buck. My mechanic told me that with annual repairs it should last well over 240,000 miles. I believe this fully, the body is built very strongly and it is a nice solid car. The interior is comfortable and stylish. The dash is very easy to read. Also the car gets amazing gas mileage. I get over 27MPG city, the brakes work great but are not to touchy and the ABS brakes are an amazing thing to have in a Cleveland Winter. The audio could use an upgrade, but then again i am an audio junkie. I have very few bad things to say about this car. It is a good reliable and economic car. It handles nice for its size and it can be found rather cheap on the market. I upgraded my entire stereo and now with its small size everything sounds amazing. I would suggest getting a new head unit. Also as far as repairs everything is rather easy to access. I have had very little troubles getting to any parts on the car. The one thing to be careful with this car is under body rust, i have not seen any yet, except my muffler hangar did rust out but that is a cheap easy fix. I give Chevrolet two thumbs up for making a great car. The cavalier is equipped with a 120hp engine. This is great for normal driving but for those who like speed, stay away or upgrade. I got this car cheap so i upgraded and i can hit well over 100mph on the highway now. I suggest upgrading the cold air intake for a boost of power and the exhaust system. The 4 door version is rather nice, it allows for easier loading compared to the two door version of the cavalier. The trunk space is amazing on this car i can fit inside it easily, it is just that big. THe car rides kinda low to the ground so it is better for smaller people than bigger people. If your much over 6 ft tall this is prob not the car for you. The steering wheel will not adjust unfortunately and the seat does nto raise and lower so for those who are very tall this may be a bad choice. It is a great choice for gas economy though and the insurance for me is cheap especially for being young. I suggest this to new drivers or to anyone looking for a reliable car. I got my car for 700$ from a neighbor but it seems the average retail price is in the 4-5000 dollar range. This is still a great bang for the buck and you cant beat that for a car that has great gas mileagle, is comfortable, is pretty fast and is very easy to work on. It is small enough to fit in a 1 car garage and there is enough room to slide under the car to work on it. I suggest going to autozone and buying a repair manual if you plan on fixing it up there about 20$ and a lifesaver.
Ah Friday, time for a bit of the lighter fare:
A man goes to a party and has too much to drink. His friends plead with him to let them take him home. He says no – he only lives a mile away.
About five blocks from the party the police pull him over for weaving all over the road, ask him to get out of the car and take the breathalyser test. Just as he is about to blow into the bag, the police radio informs the policemen of a robbery taking place in a house a short distance away.
The police tell the partygoer to remain where he is, they will be right back; and they run down the street to the robbery.
The guy waits and waits and finally decides to drive home. When he gets there, he tells his wife he is going to bed, and to tell anyone who might come looking for him that he has ‘flu and has been in bed all day. They insist on seeing his car, so she takes them to the garage and opens the door where they find the police car, lights still flashing.
A few hours later the police knock on the door. They ask if Mr. X lives there and his wife says yes. They ask to see him and she replies that he is in bed with ‘flu and has been there all day. However, the police have his driver’s license. They ask to see his car, and she asks why. They insist on seeing his car, so she takes them to the garage and opens the door where they find the police car, lights still flashing.
